Rural Hall neighborhood evacuated after deputies respond to barricade situation – WXII12 Winston-Salem

When authorities arrived at the home, gunshots were fired by a man.Deputies were able to protect the man’s wife and escort her to safety. The suspect then barricaded himself within the residence. Crisis negotiators and SWAT are currently at the scene.Deputies said they are working toward a peaceful resolution and will update as appropriate.Authorities evacuated the neighborhood and Circle Drive remains closed.
