Does Costco offer COVID-19 vaccines? Here’s how to find one near you – Deseret News

Costco will be offering COVID-19 vaccines in the coming days, but there are a number of speed bumps that will likely delay you from getting one.

What’s going on?

Costco said it will be administering COVID-19 vaccines when they are available. People can schedule appointments on Costco’s website.

Costco will be providing COVID-19 vaccines at locations in these five states:

New York

Puerto Rico

South Carolina

  • South Carolina locations will only appear as they become available. Fox Business reported that Charleston and Mount Pleasant locations offered vaccines.

  • Washington locations were not listed on Costco’s website. However, Fox Business reports the vaccines will be distributed in “Clarkston, Kennewick, Wenatchee, Sequim, Tukwila, Silverdale, Bonney Lake, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, Tacoma, Burlington, Everett, Lynnwood, Marysville, Woodinville, Spokane, Lacey, Tumwater, Bellingham and Union Gap.”

However …

Costco members aren’t guaranteed a chance to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine. The company said it only has a limited amount of vaccines available. The distribution will follow the guidelines of each state where it can distribute.

What about Utah?

Costco will not be distributing vaccine doses in Utah. Smith’s and Walmart pharmacies will be offering no-cost vaccinations to Utahns who are eligible for the COVID-19 shots, according to the Deseret News.

Those who are eligible can make appointments online at 39 different Smith’s pharmacy locations (there are 53 total in Utah), and at 18 of Walmart’s 59 pharmacies and the Sam’s Club pharmacy in Logan.
