Another roughly 25,000 appointments for eligible workers and people over 65 in Riverside County to get the coronavirus vaccine became available Friday, Feb. 12, with about 5,000 more coming next week.
The appointments are at sites throughout Riverside County for Wednesday, Feb. 17, through Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Workers in Phase 1A and Phase 1B – Tier 1, which are outlined at https://www.rivcoph.org/COVID-19-Vaccine, can receive the vaccine if they bring identification or a letter from their employer demonstrating their eligibility. Health, grocery and school employees are among those eligible. Those over 65 years old must bring identification.
Older residents who need assistance making an appointment can dial 2-1-1 or 951-329-4703, according to the county.
The new appointments consist of 14,000 first-dose appointments and 11,600 second-dose appointments, county spokeswoman Brooke Federico said.
